You can use a "partial" paint, and color and modify them, I think.

Glorpex I was definatly going for...  alien.  That and I'd yet to learn how to size the meatballs that are formed by the spine spline.  Mongo here I just worked up as sort of a weapons platform model...

Oh, and I found the earlier version of Dino I changed from...
